Annual Membership Fee: Distinct from any donation you make to the Foundation is an annual membership fee of $200 which enables two people to access Foundation member benefits. This fee will be shown separately on your tax receipt.
LEAVING A GIFT
If you believe in the power of creativity to shape New Zealand’s future, leaving a gift to Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is a meaningful way to make a lasting impact. Gifts can be made during your lifetime or included in your will, and every contribution helps bring art to life — supporting exhibitions, education programmes, and experiences that inspire generations to come.
Leaving a gift in your will is simpler than you might think — you don’t need to rewrite your entire will. Your lawyer can add a short clause (a codicil) outlining your wishes.
Every gift, whatever its size, strengthens the Gallery’s future.
Gifts of Art and Archives
Auckland Art Gallery’s collection has been shaped by the generosity of collectors, artists, and supporters. The Gallery welcomes gifts of artworks and archival materials, whether given during your lifetime or included in your will. Some donors also choose to make gifts in memory of someone meaningful to them.
If you’re considering donating an artwork or archive, we’d be very happy to discuss this with you and guide you through the process.
